She said that she is an ethical vegan and launched her business to promote plant-based eating. “So we make it [plant-based meat] for the animals, that’s our conscious choice,” Volkov said. “We also avoid animal products in our clothing, our accessories. … We prefer cruelty-free products, so basically, the main reason is for the animals.”
