Athena, a Downtown Streets Team member, cleans up the streets of Palo Alto as part of DST's community beautification initiative. Athena has gained a renewed sense of purpose, contributing to her community and finding stability after facing significant personal challenges. "It just gave me something to focus my effort on. They’re helping me with housing too, because I was in a place where there was a lot of drug use. I didn’t want to be around it,” Athena shared.
